ok, the rules are -:

1) only the person who posted the Riddle can say whether a answer is right.
2) only one Riddle at a time
3) write in English only
4) keep on topic
5) the winner of the riddle posts the next one
6) don't post a riddle already posted

ok here goes...

'A riddle for thee,
It begins with a T,
A Totoise on land,
And a Turtle at sea,
Now you must think,
And now delver,
The name of their cousin,
Who lives in the River'

Here's the next one:

The 22nd and 24th presidents of the United States had the same mother and the same father, but were not brothers. How was this possible?

Ah, the riddle of the Sphinx. :) I know the answer but I haven't got any puzzle of my own to set, so I'm keeping quiet. :) I'll leave it to Oedipus.

"Have you guessed the riddle yet?" the Hatter said, turning to Alice again.

"No, I give it up," Alice replied. "What's the answer?"

"I haven't the slightest idea," said the Hatter.

"Nor I," said the March Hare.

Alice sighed wearily. "I think you might do something better with the time," she said, "than wasting it in asking riddles that have no answers."

Okay, my riddle is this:

There was a white house with white bricks, a red house with red bricks, and a blue house with blue bricks. What color bricks did the green house have?

There was no green house.

If I'm right, someone else take it - I'm no good at these, I always get frustrated and eat my opponent.

Never! And still wrong. This riddle is better verbalized rather than written. I'll rewrite it and see if that doesn't help.

"There was a white house with white bricks, a red house with red bricks, and a blue house with blue bricks. What color bricks did the greenhouse have?"
