Change one word of the five. Maintain five words in the sentence. Rearrangement of words is allowed. Hyphenated words count as one, as long as you're not hyphenating to deliberately get away with working around the five word rule. Let the fun begin:

My dog ate my homework.

Although I'm finding, upon looking it up, that cell phone is generally not hyphenated, phone by itself will still work just fine. I'm therefore considering the sentences that used it okay in their intent. I'm going to treat them as, "My mother hid (or ate) my phone," with "cell" being implied (a common type of phone one could easily hide) because that's much more fun than criticizing anyone's sentences. Onward:

My phone ate my identity.

Yeah, that's why I wrote it that way----so that it could be distinguished from a land-line phone. Thanks!

My purple is my identity.
