Online roleplay idea!

Okay, so, I know I'm new here, but I had an idea.
In my free time I like to RP (Dice-action, not live-action )
and I thought that maybe some of you roleplayers out there might like to join in a roleplay?
It wouldn't be an anime roleplay, it would be just like a pen&paper roleplay, except all the actions and stuff would be online.

I've never done it before, but a friend has, so I thought it would be a cool idea to post here, as I could learn everything from him

Would be interesting, but not entirely sure how it would play out, especially given peoples' schedules/time zones. Might be one of those things I'd try when/if i had plenty of spare time (ie day or two).

I was thinking maybe we could ask for a thread that's completely alone and have it all on there, that way people in the RP group can post as and when they have time?
I'd thought about MSN or something before, but then the timezones thing hit me, so

I'm sure if there was enough interest we could find a way to sort it out. We are AS, we have the higest IQs, if we can't fix it, nobody can!

sounds interesting. i've been playing D&D for 25 years. currently i play 4e, but since moving i haven't gotten the motivations (or found the social fortitude) to go out and find a new group.

I was personally thinking of either World of Darkness or Twilight 2013 (Both kind of obscure).
World of Darkness is set in the same world as ours, but everything's a little bit shadier, if you get me. There are 3 expansions; Vampire the Requiem, Werewolf the Forsaken and MAge the Awakening.
It's really good to get into, and is farely simple, both online and IRL (It uses a d10 system).
Twilight 2013 is a post-apocolyptic roleplay, so it's farely simple to work that one out

Those are the ones I would GM, but I've played Eon, incase anyone else wants to GM that, and have been around while friends played Warhammer 40k, so if someone else desperatly wants to Gm, sure thing!

It seems to be similar to WoDarkness once you have all the add-on books and as someone already posted on that one I thought I could GM WoDarkness, but add in THOSE things too. Then it's like, a cross-breed
