Okay, this is for all you history buffs like me out there. Pick any monarch from any country from any time in history. And just for fun, add in any trivia and facts about the individual you post in that you want.

Anne, Queen of Great Britain

Sister of Mary II of England, daughter of James II of England. Anne's reign saw the Acts of Union, in which the kingdoms of England and Scotland united as a single sovereign state known as Great Britain. She continued to reign as Queen of Great Britain and Ireland until her death.

John

King of England 1199-1216, the only monarch to have borne this name so far. Magna Carta was signed near the end of his reign, as a result of a dispute between him and his barons. His body was buried in Worcester Cathedral, and briefly exhumed in 1797. If you're of a ghoulish disposition (like me), you can read the details here: https://www.bl.uk/collection-items/acco ... johns-tomb

In the age of absolutism in Europe, Louis XIV's France was the leading European power and fought Franco-Dutch War, the War of the League of Augsburg, and the War of the Spanish Succession.
