foods i do not care for-
*olives
*caraway seeds
*raw 'maters [slice one open and it's gory with all that nasty jelly and little seeds like its guts]
*cucumbers [they have a "grunchy" texture like crunchy rubber, and taste like old cardboard]
*pimentos
*foods that have these items in them

You know, you've really made a good point here. I never noticed this describes them exactly. Hah. I like cucumber though!

I can't stand Jell-O or gooey or jiggly foods like that. It grosses me out.

car features i do not care for-
*those big@$$ed wagon wheels with those stoooopid rubber band tires [they all ride hard over the bumps]
*sunroofs [they take away head room for tall folks]
*leather interior [hot and sticky in the summer]
*roarty exhaust notes
*fat center consoles that take up too much leg room
*tiny numbers on speedometers that ridiculously go up to 180 mph
*styling that results in rotten outward visibility and requires a backup camera in order to see out back
*monochrome interiors

List of Career Types in Classic Traveller

Army (LBB1): Members of the planetary armed fighting forces. Soldiers deal with planetary surface actions, battles, and campaigns. Such individuals may also be mercenaries for hire.

Barbarians (SUP4): Rugged individuals from primitive planets accustomed to hardship and well-trained in wilderness and survival situations.

Belters (SUP4): Individuals who prospect and mine asteroid belts in search of mineral deposits, artifacts, or salvage materials.

Bureaucrats (SUP4): Individuals serving a government or organization in management or executive capacities.

Diplomats (SUP4): Members of the Foreign Service of a government.

Doctors (SUP4): Trained individuals conducting medical practice.

Flyers (SUP4): Members of the Close Orbit and Airspace Control Command (the "Air Force") of a world.

Hunters (SUP4): Individuals who track and hunt animals of varying sizes and types for profit or enjoyment.

Marines (LBB1): Members of the armed fighting forces carried aboard starships. Marines deal with piracy and boarding actions in space, defend the starports and bases belonging to the navy, and supplement other ground forces such as the army.

Merchants (LBB1): Merchants of the commercial enterprises. Merchants may crew the ships of the large trading corporations, or they may work for the independent free traders which carry chance cargoes and passengers between worlds.

Navy (LBB1): Members of the interstellar space navy which patrols space between the stars. The navy has responsibility for the protection of society from lawless elements in the interstellar trade channels, and from foreign powers.

Nobles (SUP4): Individuals of the upper classes who perform little consistent function, but often have large amounts of ready money.

Pirates (SUP4): Individuals crewing interplanetary or interstellar vessels, who make their living by attacking, hijacking, or plundering commerce.

Rogues (SUP4): Criminal elements familiar with the rougher or more illegal methods of accomplishing tasks.

Sailors (SUP4): Members of the Nautical Force Command (the "Wet Navy") of a world.

Scientists (SUP4): Individuals trained in technological or research sciences who conduct scientific investigations into materials, situations, and phenomena.

Scouts (LBB1): Members of the exploratory service. Scouts explore new areas, map and survey known or newly discovered areas, and maintain the communications ships which carry information and messages between the worlds of the galaxy.

Other (LBB1): Characters who do not serve in one of the above areas instead follow unproductive careers with a variety of experiences. The Other service covers some trades, ne'er-do-wells, and the shady realm of the underworld. The exact nature of the career of any specific character in the Other field must be deduced from the skills and benefits received during character generation.

Note: LBB1 is "Book 1 - Characters & Combat", and SUP4 is "Supplement 4 - Citizens of the Imperium".
