What words can you spell using only the abbreviated names of chemical elements from the Periodic Table?
For example: calcium and nitrogen = Ca N = can.
A more ambitious one: helium, lithium, cobalt, platinum, erbium = He Li Co Pt Er = helicopter.
There are very few single-letter abbreviations, and some of the 2-letter ones are a little odd. I've not found a use for antimony (Sb) yet....

Uranium RAdium Nitrogen Uranium Sulfur = Uranus

THorium Iodine Nitrogen Nitrogen ERibium = Thinner

BArium (RF) Rutherfordium = Barf

CObalt Phosphorus Phosphorus ERibium = Copper (I feel like a alchemist now :lol: )

Why do the periodic table elements in your link not go further than 118? I'm probably missing something obvious here......

I thought Uranium was 235 (or 238), but in the table it's apparently 92. Must be a bit mixed up about all this. I once came top of my class in Chemistry, but that was in about 1969, LOL.

I didn't do chemistry so I'm out of my depth but Uranium 235 & Uranium 238 both come under Uranium in the periodic table

Mmmm, so the numbers in the Periodic table in the link are simply for reference maybe, and don't reflect the number of protons in the nucleus, as I was mistakenly assuming.
