Guitar Hero III???

I just bought "Guitar Hero III" for my 6 year old autistic daughter for Christmas.(she has a "thing" for guitars) Has anyone played it and how did you like it?
We don't have a PlayStation 3 yet, so I bought the version that goes w/ the PC. Is it gonna be appropriate for her. Shes really smart and beats all the other games pretty quickly. I want to give it to her now so I can play with it but I know she'll overtake the computer forever once I do.
Please let me know what you thought of it if you've played it.

After seeing an episode of South Park that dealt with it, I want to try it.

I "tivo'd" that South Park but haven't watched it yet. Yes, because of "Guitar Hero." Gonna do that right now,I need a good laugh and South Park always delivers, thanks for reminding me about it Tim.

I have Guitar Hero II for the PS2, and I think it is a great game, the buttons are representative of the notes, and you have different stages of difficulty. The toughest required a fair amount of skill, which my fingers do not posess. You get to unlock new songs, new guitars, new players. It is addictive fun. Shame III is not coming out on PS2, there are some great songs on there.

saw it last night at Wally World, but there was a line of kids at both of them, so I didn't get a chance to try it. Probably need to go back about 10pm or something... But then I play backwards and upside down, so it could get interesting.

It's funny, and looks fairly easy (if you can play.. so why not? If she doesn't like it, her friends might, or she might even make some friends from it.

Xan, my 14-year-old, has this game, Reika. He's enjoying it a lot. So far no problems except for an unresponsive strum bar, which he somehow fixed on his own.

o.k. I got the version for the PC and when I installed it it says my "video card is not supported" so I'm assuming I have to buy something right. Help anyone, for the "computer inept" Mom trying to keep the kid happy while shes sick ya know. (Besides, I want to play, it does have some cool songs on it)
Tim, South Park once again cracked me up. The agent reminded me of my NT daughters agent in San Francisco when she modeled. I guess all agents ARE the same huh?

If it says your video card isn't supported... Maybe you should download the latest drivers for your video card. If that doesn't work, you may not be able to play the game unless you buy a different video card. (Replacing a video card is a job for computer-savvy users only, and new video cards can cost hundreds of dollars.)

Do you know what kind of Video Card your computer has?

EDIT: I just looked up the system requirements for GH3, and.. holy cow. They're pretty steep. It doesn't look like even my computer could run it. My computer has a GeForce 6200 video card, and according to the website, you can't play the game without a 7600 or better.
