Well, I'm glad I stuck it out to the end solely because they mentioned marmots. I saw one in South Dakota the one time my family went out west when I was 9. If not for that, I'd never have heard of them. They're fat and clumsy-looking, but specialize in living on cliff-faces, which is awesome.
But I also like tarsiers, which is what I think the photoshopped creatures originally were, so I really resent seeing them deformed in this manner. You can make something look disturbing but cool at the same time, and those things fail miserably. I think they're fading out, since it's been about half a decade since I saw them in that commercial for Subway (?)(actually, what restaurant was it?), and had completely forgotten about them.
When I saw the title of the post, I thought it was something to do with the second Futurama episode, which just finished at midnight EST. I'll be sad to see it leave Adult Swim, as it was a significant boost to their lineup back in 2003, the first big 4 network primetime show they acquired.
