I love cartoons like, Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, but no Anime.

My girlfriends brother showed me some of his, and hes really into Anime, but I don't remember what its called. It was ok I guess it was about Van Helsing or something like that.

Like Simpsons, Futurama, and others growing up. I have some friends that are into Anime and, I've even watched a decent amount and I just don't like it. Some say it's like graphic art, but I just read a comic if I want some graphic art,but I don't..

I think it's ok - just ok.

I've seen some that rocked, others that just sucked. I guess I need to watch more to get a feel for what I'd like and what I wouldn't. I liked Akira. I liked Ghost in the Shell but I couldn't understand the story. I saw Fist of the Northstar when I was in my early 20's and that was ok. Also, Steamboy was...ok.

DEATH NOTE!! !! !! !! !! !! !

I really don't watch any cartoons besides that and an occasional simpsons episode, but I am obsessed with Death Note, enough to catagorize myself an anime lover.

I'm not going to vote. There are some that I like, such as works by Hayao Miyazaki, and some that I don't like. Plus, there were some in the past that were really good.

Male, seventeen.

I'm not a huge follower of anime (although I hang out at my school's anime club).

I mostly watch movies - I don't feel like I have time to get into a series (unless it looks particularly interesting).

Female, 22.

I like the manga style drawings, but not the cartoons.

18-year-old female and I love anime. The thing is, for the exception of Cowboy Bebop, I don't like anime set in the future or involving robots. And if it doesn't immediately grab my attention, I won't watch it.

no interest in anime

Does the term "anime" refer only to cartoons or does it also include comics and graphic novels?

Post your age and gender too please.

<- 29 and male.

Do you like cartoons at all? What do you like ?

Yes. I like The Avatar(Alot), Samurai Jack(Alot), Futurama(Alot), The Simpsons(Don't watch much anymore), Xiaolin Showdown(Seen most of them), Batman(Hardly watch), Teen Titans(rarely watch), Spongebob SquarePants(I don't know why).

Anime that I like is Naruto, Samurai Champloo, Samurai 7, Bleach, Inuyasha, Saiyuki, Outlaw Star, Rune Soldier, Desert Punk, Kino's Journey, Twelve Kingdoms, Hellsing, Berserk, Fist of the North Star, Dragonball, Rurouni Kenshin, Lupin the Third, Street Fighter II, Tekkaman Blade, Record of Lodoss War, Patlabor, so forth and so on,

Which Anime is best?

When it comes to fun, the best imo are: Rune Soldier and Dragonball.

Overall I'd say Twelve Kingdoms, Kino's Journey, Hellsing, Samurai Champloo, and Berserk are the best of those I've seen.
