:coffee: Hi everyone!

My name's MissConstrue, well it's my username, and I'm a threadkiller too.

It's been a long and rough thread but I try to take it one day and one step at a time. I try to go by the motto, keep it simple and with this I pass.

Hello

I may have a problem with thread killing, I have put quite a few threads away in my day. I hope I never do it again.

Me: I see dead threads.
Psychologist: In your dreams? (I shake my head no)
Psychologist: While you're awake? (I nod)
Psychologist: Dead threads like, in graves? In coffins?
Me: Walking around like regular threads. They don't see each other. They only see what they want to see. They don't know they're dead.
Psychologist: How often do you see them?
Me: ALL THE TIME.
:pale:

I kill threads with mythological facts.

Thor wasn't that a Nordic god of lightening and wind?

Yes. The god of thunder and lightning.

He had a hammer called Mjolnir that he used to kill giants and threads and giant threads like this one.

Not usually a threadkiller, but I do get a lot of "I can't believe I'm agreeing with him" posts that follow mine. Makes me feel like every other time they think I'm a toolbag loser.

Over the months (OMG - over a year!) since I first began this thread for those who feels a little left out in other threads, it has developed into a very positive place, where members feel relaxed, and can talk a little if they feel like it, or just pop in to say ‘hi’ and where no-one feels excluded. There is a good vibe here, so I hope everyone will respect that. It is a light-hearted thread mostly, but the ‘do you worry’ aspect still stands, so it can be a little serious and supportive when it needs to be, that’s why it’s in the In-Depth forum.

Thanks so much everyone who posted good wishes about my back, it helped a lot!! I’m on the mend slowly but still don’t sit for very long at the computer, but I pop in occasionally to see what’s going on. :nerdy: Thanks to Lemon too for doing a great job as 'host' here. What a star! :D

I think I've killed this thread btw :flower:

nice try starr ! (you should know better  )

Under Random Discussion.... We are Threadkillers. Many ppl have died into the undead dead thread yet we keep getting new recruits. Makes the task hard but at least we have some productive ways of killing it by long conversations.
