Your Aspie score: 175 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 23 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

...........................................................

Scored a 40 on the AQ.... more is better right?

Do I spend the $2000 for the testing/assessments or do I just keep going without and just deal?......

I took the quiz but haven't gotten an answer. It keeps telling me I have missed matched answers for control questions...

So frustrating.

Is it sad I got 192-200 for aspie?
11-200 nerotypical?

=)

There was a post on February 26th about hunting and a reply asking if the OP was implying that homo sapiens bred with neanderthal and that some would take offense to that.

There is a TED talk (love those!) about that very topic that you might find interesting.
It's under the Ancient Clues section of TED on Netflix. It's given by Svante Paabo and it's called DNA Clues to Our Inner Neanderthal.

While reading the hunting post from that day I couldn't help but laugh at all of the traits that I have that are on that list. As a child I used to try and trap our cat in a laundry basket propped up on a ruler with a string attached that I could pull from a hide. I built my own "dens" from couch pillows and blankets. I sniff my husband every chance I get and tell him how good he smells, no cologne please, yuck. Scents are very important to me. I have dog hearing and weirdly strong hands...
Seems like everything I read about Aspergers explains something that always made me wonder why I was so different or odd. Feels good. :)

Hi :-) I got recently interested in Asperger's for various reasons. I did the test for pure curiosity.

AS 44
NT 163

I must say there were some questions I couldn't find a proper answer. Some of these 'social questions" mostly. The answer that would be the best would be like "I know how to behave and it is easy, but I don't realy like it and I find it unnecessary". But most probably it's because I don't like all these conventions.

The reason I got interested in Asperger's is my brother. He's five and we started wondering if he might have some syndroms, or is it just my Mum's suspictions. She is trying to find an answer why is he behaving like he sometimes does. He's very talkative and there is never a problem when we visit friends or so, but in his first year in nursery school he prefered to play on his own. He's very skille in languages, he learns quickly. As for strange hobbies he loves tall buildings. We have two in our city and he always looks for them, he made us check how tall they are, I counted windows for him once etc... What alarmed my Mum <and again, I have no idea how much of this is just her making theories where they are not needed> is that he sometimes becomes histerical if something isn't done in the order it usually is. Like preparing supper - she did it in another order and he was crying. It happens sometimes with other things like that and as we don't know what to do to stop these cries <he's five after all, he shouldn't be crying over such trivials>, we started reading about possible reasons and mild Asperger's seemed to be one of them. I've already read some of the available articles and quizes just to see what should I pay attention for, but for now it has lead me to nowhere. Oh, and sorry for mistakes, English is not my fisrt language and I'm typing in a hurry.

Your Aspie score: 170 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 43 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

This is the score I got on the quiz. I am a bit freaked out by this. I was expecting I would just come out as an introverted NT. I know the test is not the same as a doctors diagnosis, but is it possible to have Asperger's without the common compulsive and/or hunting aspects? I did score slightly lower on those two sections, but high on the other four.

Any insight is appreciated. :)

The compulsive aspects can vary and the 'hunting' category doesn't mean much at all. The author of the test admits it checks more for things like dyslexia than AS.

My brother has Aspergers. I always think i am like him. He was originally diagnosed as ADHD but then diagnosed again when he got older. I dont think aspies were really recognized when he was younger?

Great test. It's hard to answer though as my answers would have scores much higher as a child. Over the years I learned alot and worked hard to overcome. I think that is their point though. They enourage taking the test over time repeatedly. I think they are expecting scores to change. Scores not a surprise 133.
I personally hate labels. Even the ethnic choice did not fit for me and I dislike putting down random answers. So for me, I use information as a personal tool. I want to be judged by people based on what the see and think they know, not a label. I have discovered labels blind people to the person in front of them.
It is useful to me as I have learned there are many non traditional ways to help "disorganized brain physiology". It does not mean no medication. But if you have certain symptoms like self harm, depression, thoughts of harming others, OCD, etc those certain issues are best handled through a psychiatrist, meds, and counselling.
But social issues, coordination, attention, etc, take work but can be improved. Painfully slow progress, but over time, I am now more in tune with what tunes people out. There is a generation wrapped in electronic devices and social media increasingly isolated. ( this forum is good though and decreases isolation, so I like it) Compared to many, I now seem social.

They also need to fix one question as its a choice -not yes/ no. Not sure if it's deliberate as they sometimesut things in to keep people honest.

Finally got my report through in the post. My RAADS-R is 188. Typical me, going to one of the extremes! I can't do just over the threshold, I have to go waaaaaaaaaay over it!

Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 12 of 200

Not really. Aspie Quiz has evolved into a neurodiversity test, but the main relation is still with AS and autism. So, no, Aspie Quiz doesn't check more for Dyslexia, but it has a few issues that are strongly correlated to Dyslexia because those are related to the other aspects in Aspie Quiz.

The neurotypical hunting category is most related to Dyslexia and Dyscalculia, while the Aspie hunting category is novel to Aspie Quiz (and thus virtually unknown of). Both of these categories are relevant for neurodiversity.

I just took that Aspie quiz. I am in the process (struggling) to find a doctor who evaluates adults. It is difficult. I don't live in a very big city. The money for the diagnosis is also an issue.

These are my results:

Aspie-quiz
Your Aspie score: 188 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 14 of 200
You are very like!y an Aspie

Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 184 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 31 of 200
You are very likely neurodiverse (Aspie)

Taking that test was strange for me. It's like someone has been spying on me and writing down all my quirks, haha. I just wish someone recognized the signs in me and suggested I look into it when I was younger, not when I was already 29. I could have planned things out better, and maybe not be in the situation I'm in now...
