I'm a very good joke teller; and I am just gifted with the ability to make people laugh. It;s fun to make a room full of people laugh.

OK.
Two Aspies and a chimpanzee walk into a bar. They sit down and the chimpanzee waves to the bartender and says"hey, we'd like a beer!" The bartender walks down to them and says...

I spent most of my life watching late night television which helped me learn how to tell jokes and even have conversations and fake caring about things I don't actually care about.

okay, 2 aspies and a chimpanzee walk into a bar. The aspies sit down and the chimp says to the bartender, "we'll have three beers here, please". The bartender says: "Okay---but I gotta see some ID first. We don't serve chimpanzees under 21.

I suppose I would have to ask other people if I have effectively delivered a joke in person. Usually my humour comes out as unusual observation I have had about a person or thing. Sometimes that is intended to be joking and sometimes not. Sometimes people laugh (in either circumstance) sometimes they don't. Sometimes I understand why what I said was funny, sometimes I don't. So it goes.

I make funny remarks all the time (sometime unintentionally...) and people laugh, but I'm not so good with telling scripted jokes.

I stink at jokes. Most of my humor comes in the form of keen observation and wordplay.

I am very bad at jokes that require telling a story. Most of my humor comes out in the form of one liners. And usually they are dumb. I have come to embrace the dumb joke as an art form mainly because I am terrible at the clever joke.

I can write a humorous piece if I am in the mood and have the time to properly edit it, but I fail at telling a joke, I think mostly because I get self-conscious and start questioning how I'm telling the joke as I'm telling it.

I can't retell a joke I've heard. I can make up jokes, and tell them, also make funny remarks. I have said a lot of things that people find funny unintentionally. I'm not good with jokes. I prefer philosophical debate, I find it less confusing in a way.

I can't tell jokes. My delivery is absolutely horrible. It's the way people tell the joke and not really the joke itself that seems funny to most people, or at least to me. When I retell it, it just comes off as awkward and I usually find myself stumbling.

Since I take things literally a lot, people tend to think that I'm a smart ass. Thankfully most find it amusing. I only tell those type of jokes with people I know...otherwise they'll think I'm being rude. Normally I try to find flaws in the semantics of other's speech. Kind of like this one:

I like to tell jokes, but they're terrible. I think they're f*in' funny, though.

What do you give people who've lost loved ones in the Hindenburg crash? Your blimpathies.

What kind of houses do proctologists live in? Bungalows.

A priest and a rabbi walk into a bar. The bartender explosively soils himself. *snare drums, cymbal crash*

Generally I am. I've learned over time I guess. Most people say I'm quite funny. But most of the time I don't mean to be extremely hilarious or anything. Oh well.

I'm hopeless at retelling jokes I've heard. I seldom ever remember them and, when I do, I can't get the punchline to appear when it should, etc. But, I can tell a funny story. I have quite a dramatic way of speaking, when there's call for it, (normally I'm slightly monotone) and I can see people laughing, just at my expressions and gesturing. These people are likely to be members of my family or close friends, so they're not laughing AT me.

For 40 years, I just didn't remember jokes and if I did happen to remember one, I couldn't tell it. I would mess it up. Then I got a job in Sales and I Had To Be Able To Tell Jokes. Period.

So, I worked at it. I had to. When I heard a good one, I jotted down the just jest of it "a priest, rabbi and a monkey walked into a bar" and when I got home, I wrote the whole joke down and put them all in a file. You'd be surprised how fast they add up when you are looking for them. I would review the jokes every other time I added new ones and soon I remembered them too!

It's just like the coping skills we've all had to learn, even if it was difficult. We worked on it and we learn how to do it!
