Hmm...right...it'll have to be a really warm room, like a sauna.
How about a mechanical "anaconda" with an adjustable squeeze? It could be made out of neoprene.

Wheat - have you ever stood in a wheat field? It's fluffy, and it makes a wonderful sound. Not to mention, it tickles.
Combine harvesters - powerful, amazing, gigantic machines of wonder.
Furry things - the texture you just want to cuddle.
These are a few things that, when I'm upset, I look at and they make my day better.
