Same here. Exhibit 1: Gwyneth Paltrow in "Sliding Doors"-liked the movie a lot, except for her annoying voice & affected accent.
Have read that Stephen Fry is (or has been) on "Bones", which I've never seen. I have enjoyed him & Hugh Laurie from "Bertie & Wooster" and "Blackadder(s)". So odd hearing Laurie "speak American" on "House" (which I like somewhat, but can't handle the gross stuff), yet he does a good job of it.

Hi Belfast! I was rather hyper last time I wrote you! Meant you no harm in any way, and apologize if I hurt your feelings. Sometimes I get a little too playful, but I never mean to insult anyone. Looking back over what I wrote the first time you landed here made me cringe.
Yeah, I found it rather poor form to taunt me with (I'm paraphrasing NOT quoting) "do you dare enter this thread ? because there are criminals here !". Then when I said "I'm not prejudiced against such labels because my boyfriend is an ex-con" I was treated to some sarcasm about maybe he's done some crime against me (when I didn't reply). That was off-putting. Cringe-inducing, cringe-evincing, cringeitudinal, cringe-worthy.
Figured no point in my bringing it up, since no one else appeared to take it seriously or be bothered by it. Thanks for belated social reparations.
