Aw, thanks Rowen, ~ it is great to see so many new threadkillers here...keeping alive the spirit of thread destruction. I love your avvie btw

syzygyish, do you think maybe you worry too much about things you say? I do understand how you feel, I guess everyone here does, we're all threadkillers here so we've all dropped the odd bomb into a thread, lol. I used to go over posts I've written in my head to make sure I'd not said anything odd...but then I remembered I'm AS so of course I do sometimes, lol. But if you go too far down that road, you end up never saying anything.
Shall we make a pact that we're going to not worry about posts so much? Ultimately, it doesn't matter that much. (Hard no to though, I know, I do know )

Oh people we miss, yes, there are so many...I often wonder how they're doing. Maybe they don't feel the need of WP any more, so maybe we should be happy for them, even thought we miss them. They have escaped the gravitational pull of this planet....so I take my hat off to them really.

I think I may have killed one of the longest running threads on WP.

I think mine get either too wordy or not to the point. I really need to work on my wording so I'm going back to my English Lit books. This is frustrating b/c I have the same problem in life. Don't know what to do about it.

I started a thread today that hasn't gotten any responses yet. I created it and killed it at the same time.

Social_Phantom, Is Dobson near Raleigh (home of former planteteer who I liked to have a virtual beer with) and is that near Pinehurst (new home of an Aussie who I used to like having a real beer with)?

After googling it, I can tell you thatPinehurst is a little closer to Dobson than Raleigh is. Raleigh is about 3 hours away (driving) from Dobson so Pinehurst is probably 2 and a half hours. I tend to judge distances by time rather than actual miles.
