ok, heres another idea;

whenever im bored, i go down to my local used book store, or a magazine rack in a drug store will do, just start checking out all the books and magazines, and you may find something that piques your interest. travel, poetry, art, geography, history, etc etc etc

at the very least, ya get yerself a good magaizine or book and do some good reading...

Yeah, I do. I get a big bag of books and read the lot. :D Methinks I just need to find some activity I can tolerate and work on the stuff that makes it hard to get out and about. Something will turn up.

Excuse me then. Since you posted right after me, talked about interests that I have possibly mentioned in my posts, and I seemed to be the only other person in this thread answering at the time, I thought you were talking to me and I was making an effort to be friendly.

I guess I'll leave you to it and come back to the thread another day.

Since everyone already told you to search for a class or a group of people with your interests, I will tell you that it could be possible to do things with the other AS mothers.

If you are meeting them x number of days per month or week, you could all agree that one or two of those days will be no-AS-talk days.

In those days, no one will talk about the AS in their kids, or school problems or that. You could go to the movies or go get a coffee or play cards.

If you all agree on it, it could be helpful for all of you. They will surely thank you for coming up with the suggestion as I am sure more than one of them would welcome the chance to have a normal "day off".

I might be going to an anxiety support group soon, but you don't sound anxious other than the driving. Only bored.

So ... are there circus arts courses around where you are Elderwanda? Is it a bohemian area? You could google, and see if there's any that can teach you to fire twirl or juggle. There's one near me, but it's on a day I can't do :( Better luck to you in that
