At 26 I am at the lowest point in my life, but hey things can only go up from here right?

Things were bad for me all through my teenage years, and college didn't seem that much better. Things hit a high point between 20-22 with finishing up college, going off to grad school, and exploiting poor college freshmen. ;) Actually holding a job proved much more challenging (and depressing) right at first. It was more the kind of thing that I couldn't get the kind of job I actually needed, and then I got stuck being a property owner and tied to an area. So my 20's seem like a lot of ups and downs with more downs than ups.

I'm 32, at my lowest point, but things seem to be gradually improving. If your 20's were absolutely miserable, I can totally relate.

I don't really remember much of my twenties, I was in the Army, drinking a lot of too good German beer and a smoking fair amount of hashish. The late twenties kicked my hind-side with depression/burnout after I cleaned my act up, then again a year ago. Doing well now with the help of celexia and a lot of vitamin D.

At 19 I was most happiest (I think). Now at 24... well, if you read many of my posts, you'll know I'm almost unique - even for WP standards. But hey, I become this: :rambo:

Teens, 20's, and 30's. Since puberty my life has been on the downhill slide. There were bright points. They tend to fade over time. And the really dark points only become darker.

But cheer up. Everyone is different. The tunnel might end tomorrow. Even I have hope for the future and I'm pessimistic by nature.

My twenties were rough, but they were better than my teens. My thirties were rough, but they were better than my twenties. My forties were/are rough, but they were/are better than my thirties.

Hang in there. Keep working on keeping yourself together and being kind to yourself. It can get better.
