So I tried your tricks and it worked. Hot water has made it easier to shave, so I did it during (:
And I tried some type of oil (It's good for the skin, forgot what it's called) to shave my body, and because I was out of shaving cream I used it on my face for now.

I use two razours, one for legs, underarms, body (other areas) and the other for my face. I noticed that the one I use for my body is a little blunt... So that might have been the problems with my rash..

I am rather long-winded about my special interests. Em, well, actually, to be more accurate, I'm just long-winded in general. Sorry.

How long had you been using it for?

They need replacing regularly.

I've had it for about a month or two now?
It's a pain to replace it all the time ):
I just don't want hair on my body anymore~
It would make things so much easier, oh well..

No, I meant, how many shaves?

The amount of time you've had it for is irrelevant. In one month you could have shaved 30 times, 10 times, or no times at all.

Hence why manufacturers can justify not providing an expected lifespan for their razors.

You should probably replace it after about 3 or 4 shaves (but the manufacturers will never admit that. )

What? 4 times only? ):
That's so short
So much hassle just to get rid of hair...
Is there a permanent solution?

Laser removal is the only permanent solution, I think.

Laser removal is the only permanent solution, I think.

How often you need to replace the razor will depend on its quality and also the surface area you are shaving. 3 or 4 is my average for a mid-priced razor shaving from the knees down. If doing other body parts too, using a cheaper razor, or tackling longer thicker (male) leg hair, it may go blunt more quickly. Changing it is important, because the majority of injuries result from bluntness.

My hair isn't that thick (My underarm, leg, stomach hair isn't anways)
What if I buy the best brand of razor? How long would that last for?

Well, personally I'd never try laser, because:

A. I've heard it's painful.
B. It's expensive.
C. It requires multiple sessions over time, so not a quick fix.
D. Not all hair types are suited to it.
E. I'm not so bothered by my hairiness that I'd ever go to such extremes.
F. It's not recommended for those with sensitive skin.
G. It will not remove 100% of the hair.

You'll just have to try, and find out. There is no guaranteed answer how long it would last, due to all the variables involved.

If you want to afford a better razor, you could always go out and buy several packs of the cheapest ones you can possibly find. They are almost certain to be blunt and useless for anything other than inflicting injury, and you could complain to the manufacturer, receive financial compensation, and use it to go out and buy a better one! :D

A. That scares me S:
B. It's probably a few thousand, the money I don't have ):
C. I don't want to go back several of times...
D. That scares me too.. S:
E. I am bothered by it.
F. My skin is very sensitive ):
G. That makes me sad

Okay then, thank you All_White (:
Maybe if I buy a new razor I can take a screen shot of it and show you, and you can guess how long it might last for? I trust your words over my Mum, hahas (:

LOL all the people who didn't get to see that PM will be wondering what all of this is about!

I will be able to do no such thing! My abilities do not extend that far, but we will at least be able to determine whether it's a good quality one or not. Remember it's not about "how long it lasts" in terms of time, but, rather, "how many shaves." It's important to get all the water off it after shaving, though, and not replace the cap if the blades are still wet, because that will lead to rust, which will lead to - shudder - potential injuries. It will need replacing sooner if you let it rust.

One thing you could do is check out all the leading manufacturers and identify their latest addition to their range of razors and note them down. Then call them up to say:

"Hello. I'm a teenage boy who's about to embark on a lifetime of shaving and would prefer to stick to one particular brand. I'm trying to find out which is the best. I've noticed your new model the ABC, but I'm wavering between that and the XYZ, which looks kind of better."

(The XYZ is the equivalent from a rival brand).

"In fact, yes, I think it is better, come to think of it. I'll go with the XYZ. Sorry to have wasted your time."

They will probably have been trained to reply like this:

"Sir, I am very sorry to hear that you feel that our brand is of inferior quality. Before you hang up, would you mind if I take down your address to allow me to send you a free sample or some coupons to enable you to purchase our new ABC and try it for yourself?"
