Not everywhere is San Francisco. Where I live, out in the country, in a heavily conservative red state, medical doctors still do not believe autism is even real.
Hello,
Thank-you for your response. I live three-hours away from SF in a somewhat conservative part of CA. Most resources for Aspergers (AS) are orientated around youth. Yet, I've found people who both understand my concerns that adults with (AS) remain overlooked; as well as being receptive to considering SF Bay-Area resources.
Surprisingly, I?ve found that TECH. orientated regions such as the SF Bay Area, Seattle, Boston largely overlook people with (AS). Online listings such as ?Yelp.com? and ?AngiesList.com? have yet to mention, and rate professional services in those regions based on experience with (AS). Yet, these regions are naturally "ahead of the curve" on (AS).
I?ve found potential resources on professional services in Chicago. The two links enclosed are Chicago-based, and include a.) A directory that lists and rates businesses/services based on experiences with disabilities. b.) A TECH. employment service assisting (AS) clientele.

The best bets are to contact professional services (mostly in the Chicago Region) listed on ?JJs List? to get references to professional services elsewhere in the U.S.. Hence, actual experiences with services receive comments on widely-used services such as ?Yelp.com? and ?AngiesList.com, which in turn may help boost awareness of much needed services for both service providers, and Asperger clientele alike!
Thank-you
