Well, not like shooting myself in the head, lol. That new job I tried put me over the edge. So now I'm a little more even. Thanks for asking.

We never did finish our abortion debate, but I think all abortion debates go on forever. One side sees the potential life as more valuable than the woman's bodily autonomy. The other side the reverse.
I don't think they can be reconciled - one side sees the experience of child creation as no big deal and the other sees it as a very big deal.

Good to hear Androbot, I am glad your feeling just a little better.

Yeah abortion is a debate which I can't really see being resolved at all.

Everybody screws up at times, don't beat yourself too much over past deeds, which can't be changed, only remedied.

He never stopped by, but I did see him a couple of days ago in a pow wow with some other conservative residents of the building. They are likely trying to come up with a way to deal with the tenants who are actively dealing drugs and are violent. He didn't beckon me to join them. He may see me as being on the drug team as I know people can smell cannabis smoke from my unit. Although I have smoked marijuana for almost 30 years I have never equated myself with hard drug users. Cocaine, Heroin, Meth ... way too dangerous for me.
Anyway, it turns out the people across the hall are not wanted for murder. The Sergeant I spoke to said it was a different person by the same name. My neighbour is just on their radar for drug trafficking. "On their radar," she practically has a flashing sign above her door. It's like a convenience store.
I am most concerned about the cat I have seen in the hallway a couple of times. At first he was a cuddly affectionate kitten, but he is afraid now. He cries like he is hurt and he won't let me touch him. I know he is being abused and I am going to do my best to rescue him.

Maybe you should rescue that cat. He looks like he is suffering being with his owner. My Grandma adopted two cats after they were abused by their owners and took care of them honestly doing that may be for the better.

If I get the opportunity I will take it.

Definitely, how would you plan to do it?

Yea don't let the cat put up with another day of what it has already had to endure.

Well my plan, should the opportunity present itself, is to get the cat to come into my unit. I will then put the cat into my cat carrier and take him directly to my mothers. If I keep the cat myself they would know.

I am also worried about the girl who owns the cat. Her boyfriend, who I believe has hurt the cat, I think, hits her. They're having some ugly fights.

The Sergeant I spoke to about the murder suspect I thought I saw told me that they are aware of the neighbours as they have a history with the police. I honestly don't care about their dealing, it's the violence that seems to come with it that bothers me.

Looks like you have sorted out how you are going to rescue the cat. Domestic abuse is a different matter though.

Have you ever considered moving from where you currently are, it looks like you consider your neighborhood to be quite dangerous.

I do (well, just the building - the neighbourhood is in transition) and I would, but things are in the process of changing. The building is scheduled for massive renovation and dealers never stay anywhere long.

What about the neighbor who owns the cat however?
