do posters compress the size of their pix? cos these are very slow loading.

i use imagewell (for macs), it's a free download, there'd be plenty of others around.

I had to confine my fabric and yarn stash to large plastic bins thanks to some nasty little insects! I miss my colorful piles.

Thanks!!

No, they were 5, 3 and 2. Now they are 16, 14, and 13. The oldest and youngest are Aspies and they are still all the same height as one another, and 6" taller than me! :)

Probably some other good image software out there, for free, that could edit down the size and even alter the sharpness, (like we have to do for some of the costum avatars) to get the image smaller in size. I use photo shop, but don't really need that much flexibilty, probably only use about 3 of it's features. It might even make a difference on the format that the image itself is in, such as jpg, gif. Gif stores it as a smaller size, I beleiev it does anyway. When given an option on how to store a photo on your machine, go jpg and keep it, then use the other formats if you need when you want to play with it. The jpg is the higher quility and won't degrade in that format. If you're on dial up it probably would make a difference in laod time. I'm not sure how much the link to the image it self would matter (photobucket is the one I use). But good point, it isn't hard to still get up a good photo and make it a little more friendly for others with dial up.

Ok, if they are 6 foot and you're umm 5'8" that would be, humm, errr, = math. Wrong answer, damn. Let's see that would be = Tall, yeah that's the right answer. Do I get a gold star? See the only reason I can tell that now is before, I figured the more commas in a sentance the more important it had to be. Then I recently understood what all this comma stuff is about. So now I can finally point out these horrible failings. It's revenge, you have been revenged. I'm taking my revenge out on you, my pretty and your 3 little, err tall, loves. Ok that makes sense, leave you alone cause you got an army of 3 tall loves. And don't you go pickin on my spelling and all that nasty stuff or I'll, or I'll, oh never mind pick away.

There you are!! *wave*

Dare me? You have to tell me which one to dare you with.

Battery is shot on my camara (digital one anyway) and the freakin software for the camara dock won't install right. swampblossoms camara has too many buttons. So, I guess I have to wait till next month to do that dare.

I must say, a lot of the desk tops photos and "piles" would like me to ask the owners to come clean mine, they are much more orderly and under control. It's like looking for common traits and I see a desktop and go, "OMG, I do that too!! That looks just like mine."

KK, I shut up now, but geeeze I looked through what has been put up with huge grins and chuckles.

OH! I did a 20 minute short video study of women's dresser tops for a senior (college) project! It was to the music of Bette Midler's "From a Distance" and just roved over the objects of 17 different woman's dresser tops.

sorry, I have no picture taking or posting abilities.

Merle
