Coping without family support?
I an 46 and was diagnosed about 6 mos ago. It was quite the epiphany and I will forever be grateful to my psychologist for giving me that piece of my puzzle. All of a sudden a great many events in my life and personality characteristics make sense, it was amazing to learn there is a reason why I'm different! But also very stressful and to exacerbate the stress, my family doesn't believe my diagnosis nor does my husband. It's very lonely having no one to talk to who understands other than my Dr when I see her once a week.
I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem?
