Should I resuscitate it, or let it rest in peace?

Ah, let it rest in peace, I guess. :)

I look as well as feel younger than I am. People say I look about 14 (I'm 18, almost 19 8O) and growth wise, I feel about 16. I have a rich inner world and I'm very idealistic (which I think is good, to some point) and inexperienced. (which isn't as great, leads to problems.) This all makes me feel younger.

yeah...I hang out with you guys, instead of standing on the porch yelling "Hey you kids! Get off my lawn!"...;)

I'm shaving off the beard and mustache tomorrow, they've gone gray...;)

I'm like that too, I don't yell at kids, especially over nit-picky little things!

I am chronologically 30, but physically I am between 14-16. I am intellectual intelligent so about 100. As for who I get along with, I get along with children and teenagers, and older women, or anyone in my life who is considered someone who looks out for my safety(police officer, professor, doctors, etc.) When it does come to maturity, I am between a 2-10 because I am very immature.

Chronologically, I'm 40. (God, that sounds odd to say) Mentally, I'm in my early 20s. Strangely enough, that's how I've ALWAYS been....felt way too old for my age as a kid, now feel way too young.

I got carded when I was 30 in NY when I was in NY visiting my friend for the weekend. I didn't have my passport or any ID with me, because I wasn't expecting to have my age checked - in the UK, it's legal to drink from the age of 18, and even if I'd known you were supposed to be 21 in NY, it wouldn't have occurred to me to carry ID at age 30!

I'm 39, and recently a 30-year-old guy made a pass at me, because he thought I was only about 34. One of my colleagues thought I was in my late twenties.

Indeed I do. But only sometimes. At the moment I'm in my mid-thirties but feel like being left somewhere near 23 quite often. Sometimes I feel that I'm so old and senile and conservative that I must be at least 90 years old.

It's really confusing sometimes as I feel like I'm really immature yet I seem to be taking more responsibility of my own actions and my life than most people. Most things I'm interested in are something a 20 year old might be interested in, some are things no sane person over the age of 10 would be interested in. So, when it comes to areas of interest, I'm immature. But othervise I think I'm older than most of my peers at work etc.

The stress and unhappiness of living an undiagnosed AS life has left my body in stressed tatters. Trying so hard to please people my whole life to find out that the cards were so stacked against me.

Proper education and values taught me people and human being was what "life was all about" and "try and balance that" with computers and other obsessive (and successful) interests. It has been my high intelligence shoving my emotions around trying to make them fit in a world where they are unwelcome (there are reasons why AS people have troubles making friendships, marriage, etc).

I'm glad that many have youth and good health. But for many, I think the flip side is true. A life of stress with heart disease, eating disorders (overweight ages you too), drinking problems (that will age you) or suicide and other self destruction. The statistics on failed marriage are estimated at 80%, suicide rates much higher.

If your body looks young, wow!

The other problem with not feeling like my age, is that I tend to still find people who are actually my mental age, more attractive than those who are in my actual age bracket. :?

I still get the shocked reaction. When in my 20's, people figured me for mid-teens; mostly because of my petite build, I guess. In my 30's, I was figured for being in my 20's. I even got carded a few times. Now, in my 50's, I am assumed to be in my 30's. I have decided to stop telling my age, since I hate feeling invalidated. A lot of NT's think I should be flattered, but I can take no credit for my genetic predisposition to looking young!

Oddly enough, I was always assumed to be MUCH older from the time I was a kid till I was in my 20s (I chalk it up to precocity, freakish height, and later on, massive weight gain), but now, people have a hard time believing I'm past early 30s max.

Now I'm 5'10, but I reached 5' when I was about 7 and my full height by 13.

Age is indeed strange. I feel that my acute naivete about life causes me to act like a child. However, my body feels much older than my actual age. In reflections on life and provocative thought and discussion, I have been called an "old soul." So maybe I am all ages... does that make any sense?
