You should try having a seagull pair, with two hungry chicks, directly above your head of a morning.

So far as I know (and maybe that's not saying a lot?), there is only one non-Aspie who has contributed to this thread: nannarob, and I even have my doubts about her!

(Correction, her grandson AussieBoy put in that one quick foray... but that was just for fun and doesn't count. He's 8 and was looking after his 7 yo AS brother.)

If anyone else would care to correct me on that (assuming that I'm wrong), I'd like to know.

Lupine... I had that thought in the back of my mind... Rosie's with you, IIRC? I'm rubbish on pets, but I wonder if a tarantula would work for me. Very, very low maintenance. The gentlest animal I've ever met. They must weigh a fair amount, but they are so careful, and spread their weight so precisely. As (rats! I've forgotten her name, so I'll pretend it was: ) Wendy walked across between my hands, I had some trouble being sure that she wasn't some sort of hallucination. The tiniest of sensations as she adjusted her weight from foot to foot. An "apologetic" walk.

And now I've lost the thread again. I should have got up earlier this morning. Another five pages, in less than a day. Is this place going exponential? Merle... you really ought to take more care with my ASCII art. Thanks for the image YowlingCat. A wall poster would be nice. Just for the silliness, I've just remembered this somewhat distorted one of me:

ZanneMarie: Some pretty accurate Nights in White Satin lyrics... out of several Googled sets of lyrics, these were best, plus the "Breath deep" poem follows on.

Discreetly stepping on their toe very hard with the point of my heel usually works for me.

Yes, but some guys LIKE being stepped on with high heels ! !!
(At least, that's what I've read, ahem.)

It's that darn startle effect! But, about a month ago one did it and I took the advice of a very nice Aspie man and rolled my chair back into this cretin and stood up! That did the trick. Then, my boss came back and ran him off, finishing the job. He hasn't been back since.

I did not scare her off! She read the same first chapter you did and was not frightened! You were the one who wanted me on the couch for all of that violence. I'm just very un-Aspiated in my imagination and these are the movies I see in my head.

Hey! We could post those fight scenes in here if the cretin shows up! LOL He'll run for the hills.

Where did I put my voodoo doll from Little Haiti. It's very effective at cretin removal now that I think about it.

Zanne,
I included the sarcasm tag so you wouldn't get offended, dearie ! !
I'm sure she'll be back, and yes, if the stalky creep SHOULD appear, the fight scene would no doubt frighten him away ! !!

Now then, would you like to share about the shoe thing, hmmm?

Yup, that would certainly be a lot more interesting than reading blogs about him. Just to be an equal opportunity politician basher, I think we should drop Al Gore off at the fatty farm for a slim down. He's using more than his fair share of caloric energy.

Al doesn't bother me, I'm deathly afraid of his wife tripper, err I mean Tipper. Zappa did a number on her though, it was a real treat. I think she was just pissed off she couldn't dance to his music.

Hmm. Maybe Tipper is making Al depressed and he is overeating?

I still have a link where to send trolls all innocent like, but it would take a PM for me to give it out, it's rather X-rated. Man I do miss the good trolls, such fun. We had a little group they would pop into once in a while, sort of a pre WP spot. The trolls tended to stay around, but they weren't trolling anymore, they liked it there. We had the resident "Mistress" Silverraven, made absoulty no restriction of what she was all about. We had to form a Silverraven fan site so we could fawn over her and the worship the goddess she was. She was a reformed troll, one of the first and man was she good. She kept a notepad handy as comebacks would pop into her head. She was not NT.

Naw, True, relax, I do read body language and facial pretty well. We come in all sizes shapes and abilities. Where one of us might not get it, another will. They won't last long here. Dog people (trainers) are an odd bunch. Used to be involved with a thing called Shuzthund, it's mainly for working dogs. Had Dobies and a Gaint Schnauzer, need to start working Ike (English Mastiff) he's just to big and strong not to have some manners, but still spoiled, I spoil em all. Not a mean bone in his body, dispite the breeds history, well I think there might be, some insurance guy came to the house and he did not like him one bit. I didn't either. He's afraid of the cats, lol. I mean this dog runs 150 pounds and these little bundles of fur, will and can set him into meltdown mood. A case of beer? Hell in my drinking days a case would hardly get me through a day. When I obsess with something, I go all the way.

And I'm still waiting as to why you're stalking me nannarob, I do so like presents

Postpaleo, which Zappa song??

Do you mean "Frank's Garage"?? That's toooo long ago, isn't it?? That was Zappa's opus regarding censorship. The Chief Scrutinizer, indeed ! !!
