I'm married to a nerd. No wonder we get along so well! He is a web developer and programmer that never leaves home and is obsessed with sci-fi.

Now Serious, did Hans ever give up his clunker space ship? NO. When Luke was believing in the force, Hans was fixing wires. But, did you ever notice how much they relied on each other? Hans kept Luke grounded in the real world. Luke gave Hans ideas and faith in something bigger than what he could see, touch, hear and smell. There must always be a ying to the yang to have balance. Always.

There is no Neo without Trinity. Trinity cannot be "the one" because she cannot free herself of the real world. On the other hand, she is the only reason he often believes enough in himself to go on and find out who he is. Neo understands "there is no spoon" but Trinity never does, yet she is as integral to the tale as he is. She is the one who starts him on the way to find himself.

I was taking something else and it stopped working. I thought I would try not taking anything but I turn into an air-head when the ADD rears it's ugly self. It is the first day and there is a flu going around my family and dayhome families so I hope that is what it is. My dh just told me he felt ill today as well.
As you all may have noticed, I have been able to post a number of things today because I could focus. I just couldn't grasp any strange concepts. I'm sure it will get better and a day of relaxing and taking a break has been good. :)

That's because he doesn't see the value. Pry his eyes open with those clamps from the Clockwork Orange and make him watch it until he gets it. OR, make him write ten things he loves about Luke.

How did you feel about Han?

That's why you married him. LOL

I thought he was too. I thought Luke was a dimwit. I always go for the bean counting stick in the mud types.

Han is a spectacular specimen of the male species!! :D Unfortunately, when you're attracted to the strong silent type you don't get much warm and fuzzy behaviour, do you?

Dunno' if this'll make people recoil-not trying to be icky/gross.
In reference to pattern of "ASD women with NT/OCD male partners"...how to say this delicately ?
Assisted skin-picking, interpersonal "grooming behavior"-Yes or No ? I'll go first-yes we do.
You know what I mean, please don't make me spell it out.
Eeek ! Don't want to feel like I'm so unusual & strange.

No, not that kind but he is obsessed with brushing my hair. He's also OCD about any wrinkles in my clothes and I can't leave with a single wrinkle in what I'm wearing or he goes crazy. He also straightens my clothes incessantly whenever we're together which makes people stare when we're in public. He also does that to my jewelry. It's just his OCD stuff.

Mine is much more warm and fuzzy than I am. In fact he's pretty mushy when it comes to me. LOL Not with anyone else though. He's impatient with them.

My dh, or NERD as I will now refer to him, , is built like a lumberjack and acts like one on occasion. There is absolutely nothing feminine about him. He writes poetry but only when it might get him out of trouble. It's probably a good thing because my inner dominatix tends to walk all over weaker more sensitive men!

Interesting.Are you diagnosed,in any form,as AS?

I've tested as INFP consistently for twenty years, though closer to middle on the F/T and P/J.Strict INFJ as a teenager.

By the way, every boy in 1977 knew Han Solo was the guy to be when we grew up(even though most of us were more like tepid Lukes).
