Ooh, drinks on the thread...what to choose? I'm not a great lover of champagne either. A bacardi and coke would be good. :) And what will you have?

So...that's a bacardi and coke, a rum and coke, and a single malt, oban...can the thread run to a few bar snacks? We should have something to soak up the booze :D

Tell me, what is it about Oban whisky (whiskey?) that makes it nice? My husband is like this with whisky, he can tell the difference between the different types but I can't. They all taste the same to me. Are some nicer than others?
