Didn't you get it, Merle? She was screaming, "It's all about ME. It's all about ME!" Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

well, I did think she was being selfish, but I thought it would be pretty rude to tell her so.

Let's get them from Canada, they are cheaper there!

Merle

I don't care if I'm rude. I tell them all the time. Too bad if they don't like it. It's not like I'm going to be friends with people like that. If they try to hit me, coffee dude will get them. He grew up in the Bronx.

Oh! so maybe she was being RUDE when she called me "SinsBadly!"
sheesh, I am still so naive!

Merle

Coffee dude! Go slap that curebie mom at once!

Yes, ma'am.

Well, since we didn't have children, it can be all relative with no harm done.

Ahem ~clears throat~ Well then, seriously now...

I think we should discuss ASpie fiction as a topic. Not just what we enjoy reading, but what we write, or want to write ! !!

(There now, was that serious enuf??)

Hi guys, sorry to butt in, but this post just cracked me up Merle

And I bailed out of the parents forum soon after I found the site. I can't remember why, but I my comments about the difficulties of being an AS parent with NT kids weren't that well received. Either that or it was my famous thread killing abilities  Sorry, that's probably this thread gone down the pan now  :(

You didn't say whether you liked the last bit I sent to you so I didn't send more. Was she Aspie enough? I was sort of writing blind or so I thought.

Or did it get to graphic for you?

Yes, I can see where that wouldn't go over well. After all, they think they are perfect in there and the only happy life is their life. There are exceptions of course and I have met them, thank God, or I'd throw the whole lot out with the trash and post, "Run for your lives, kiddies!! !! !"

In one of the communes I lived in we had a cannister of helium we kept for balloons for the kids, and we developed a way to temper arguements, as they would arise from time to time. we partially filled a couple of balloons and made the componants of the argument take a lung ful and argue their point until he was talking normally again. It was a GREAT diffuser and we learned a lot about how ego divides us.

Joining with Prof P, a little, I've just discovered that the fiction I've been vaguely trying to get my hands on for a while has been available online (in 10 parts) for some time... I've watch these ten. I have parts 2 to 4 on tape. I'll re-watch them tomorrow. Then I can get back to season two, which I've never seen in its entirety.
If I go a bit quiet, it's probably because I'm wallowing in Lexx, but might also be because my IP has capped my downloads (I downloaded the Ubuntu 7.04 CD, then upgraded online with even more, now this Lexx indulgence.)

Yes, and thank you, Prof, for your words turned on a light bulb in my brain. I can write it all as Aspie Fiction, not just another 'I conquered Asperger's Syndrome and wrote a book about it!" Biography. Yes, that is what I want to write. People like to read my stuff, but they don't like to think all that stuff actually happened TO ME!

Prof thinks it all happened to me and gets upset. Or maybe he's upset that it exists in my mind when I never lived through it? Hmmmm

The ad above me says "Bask in the warmth of Mexico from $509." I'm still thinking Venezuela.

what? are we not to have materalistic things and call ourselves a commune? Should I have given up my guitar? what about the mini bus we got around in, would you have us carry the children as we walked because it was good enough for the Hunter Gatherers? I can live with other people in community with out taking a vow of poverty, I would think.
