I just checked the lyrics in the anthology I have and Zanne's lyrics are correct.

That is solely by chance then. I think they used to print all the lyrics on the album sleeves.

They did. The set that I have is on disc. My kids bought it for me. It is a 3-disc set that also has a biography of Simon and Garfunkel and the lyrics to all of the songs. I used to be so obsessive about music lyrics that I kept binders full of them. I sing and play instruments but the obsession was still a little much.

Why are you embarassed? I'm the dolt who didn't put my headphones on! You sounded fine. I was expecting Simon and Garfunkel and you came on. I turned and looked at my screen for a minute. Duhhhh Slow on the draw here. Finally, I was like, Oh! That's Lau.

You sing much better than I do.

I don't post there, because by your implied definitions I too must be a "post whore". I like to ramble, sometimes make inane comments, play games, and I've even been known to have posting contests with people for a laugh.

Besides, I thought calling shadexiii a "dick" on another thread for disagreeing with you on "post whores", was offensive (though I see you've edited that out now).

So I guess I know I wouldn't be welcome on your thread.

fair enough, i do lean towards the 'brevity is the soul of wit' thing myself and a lot of people here are long winded.

i haven't edited my post, i still think shadexii is a dick. I haven't checked the thread lately so i don't know how it was edited, a mod perhaps. anyway b***h about me as much as you want! as mistakenly as you want! you obviously enjoy it. there's nothing like a common enemy for group bonding! enjoy!

(I always thought is was "night I'm" not "nighttime". All the online lyrics seem to say the latter, which doesn't make any grammatical sense. Still... why should it?)

DUDE!! Their first album they released here in the states, man on man, very under rated. I finally found (was shown actually) a place to get it, "Bald Headed Woman" "Long Tall Shorty" "Cadillac", and almost the whole freakin thing, raw, very raw stuff. Like early Zep, Cream, Stones, Yardbirds, Animals, etc was, well a good deal of your invasion of music was. Had that unpolished feel to it, made it more real I always thought. I will own that again some day. That Yardbird history is really something. Still think Page to be over and above the call of duty. Great, but yet knows when to share the spotlight. Interesting why some of the state side artists went to England to get "discovered". I gave all my music aw ay when I got drafted, gathered some more and then gave it all to a budding young musican, gathered more and now have to figure out how to get it all onto harddrive. Gawd what a task that will be.

"Can I buy another vowel, Jack?" from a game show here in the states. I still think Vanna needs a life.

Interesting, when younger most lyrics were just another insturment to me. I still hear gutiars "talk", some guys/gals better at doing it then others. Hasn't been until this writing block has been lifted from me, some many years later, that I can now look them up on line. Get interested in them. I still have a hard time picking up the words in most. But I doubt if there was anything Lennon wrote that I didn't hear the words.

Good day, all :D . Once again, I appear to be late. Story of my life. I'll just grab a seat, have a Chocolate Caramel Chai Tea and hang for awhile. (Or is that what they call lurking?) I'm have no idea what lurking is or what a troll is. I'm a "computer virgin" apparently.

Don't worry, someone will bust your computer cherry.

Lurking just means they read in a spot/forum/site, but don't comment, kind of like ghosts in the back ground, more then a few in here, count on it. Troll, well, that's been around for a while, different people look at it a little differently. In a nut shell, they come on to a site and try to take over the topic or in the old days they ran in packs and tried to take over a whole forum/group. They do it with various metheds, the good ones were fun. The art of trolling isn't around to much anymore, it has changed and changed for the worse. Oh I don't know maybe they just got better, but I doubt it. Looks a lot like bullys anymore.

There that wasn't so bad now was it? This mean you computer is pregnant?

You set the rules and you asked why we came and didn't post. Don't come here whining at the answers. If you don't want to know, don't ask. If you want to set rules like that, suck it up and deal with the consequences. That's what you wanted, that's what you got and you should be happy now. So go be happy.

Figured out why I had gotten more spacey then normal, The Wife was concerned and I guess I started to wonder too. I had been a little paniced that the meds weren't working right anymore and that I might not be able to write anymore. I mean any writng that ended in some direction. I normaly know enough to eat, not unusual for me not to come up for air, but a couple other warnings signs were there, repeated music over and over and over is one. Any way, I went to fill my reminder boxes for the med I take and I had missed two, whew!! Should be better shortly. Guess I need to rethink my reminder box. Might have to come up with some kind of audio signal and better labels on the boxes.
