I am having been so enlightened and lightened since I found this place. I unfortunately can't stay as the many facets of my life call. I need to go to about five different suppliers today and then go work tonight for a former tree faller. (A tree fell on him and profoundly altered his life.) I'm about the only one thick skinned enough to have worked for him as long as I have. Here in Humboldt it's hard for employers to find workers as they have to compete with the growers who offer $20 an hr to sit in a barn, trim buds and get loaded. This poor guy offers $10 an hour and you have to contend with his justifiable bitterness, abasing comments and tasks that require gloves.
I have a long 24 hrs. ahead of me.
I look forward to checking back in in a day or two.ciao

WOOT!! The Wife is leaving me. Life is really really good. Oh joy, oh rapture. Bear wallow heaven.

Bad news is only for a night :cry: Tried to talk her into two nights, but don't think it worked.

She's already setting up the house, food, etc. so I don't die on her. Cripes been on my own more then I've been married. I mean it's like no credit for doing that, at all. I can run a microwave and I still can open a can of beans. She'll probably cook up more food then I could eat in a week just to be safe.

Probably I'll do stupid things making coffee, I do that anyway. Don't need food, nicotine and coffee, the two main food groups anyone really needs for long sustained life. Once and a while a piece of chocolate. I think that's in the vegtable group.

Lemon... the silly program is the Java Ascii Versatile Editor. It tells you there how to get it going. It's "Ascii Art" - almost a lost art, these days. A pity, because it can be quite nice for a quick impact, without, as you said, fiddling about with cameras, scanners, uploads, linking.

So how come page 200 isn't full? I predicted yesterday afternoon, then everyone stopped posting (until I went away, and you all went on furiously posting).
