Married to man with asperger's and need some help here!
Please refer back a number of posts to my original objection and the post I was referring to to see how I got here:
I would like to see Wrong Planet be able to advise non-AS spouses, support them in a positive way with constructive advice - but I do hope that the focus here is primarily a place for people with AS - and the differences that I mentioned a couple posts back - to feel "SAFE." A lot of the sites I have searched and provided here speak of how difficult it is to live with an AS spouse. I am the AS spouse, and - thank you, but try being AS. I really need a place where I can feel safe to talk. The post I originally drew attention to - and quoted - does not make for a safe environment, in my opinion - to share the difficulties from an AS perspective - legitimate difficulties.
I am not referring to the OP, nor another poster or so who jumped in along the way asking for help - follow the threads back and you will see the reference to the content I took issue with and I hold my opinion.
So here, here are some more resources for the non-AS spouse - some are forums and mailing lists, a few others more about information - some of these are very hard for someone like me to look at, but as suggested - I have provided a bunch of links:
