I'm not sure if I've attracted outright hate, except when I was young. I've learned how to blend in very well, how to not offend, and stay off most people's radars. If I didn't do that, you bet I would get a lot of aggression my way.

Granted, I also have trouble making friends in any capacity. The few times in recent years anyone has shown interest, they usually just drift away after a few weeks. Most of my attempts to meet people end up putting me in contact with unsavory types.

But years of meditation has also revealed that nearly *all* of my suffering shares 'other people' as a cause, while 'being alone' infrequently causes any suffering. So I am preparing to live the remainder of my life with absolutely as little human interaction as possible.

I live over the pond. I've attracted a group of what I'd defined as 'haters' before I came across this site. They stem from internet forums as I do a lot of work with consumer rights law, helping people with various problems ranging from debt to bailiffs and more.

There is a group who seem to be intent on destroying me and have attacked my mental health issues as well as my autism. Police involvement is almost pointless as they have too many other, bigger things to deal with and just tell me to stay off the internet.

That would be an obvious solution, but I'm exceedingly agoraphobic, so the internet is a major source of passing time and feeling I'm contributing something to society after having to take early retirement from my job on health grounds.

The 'haters' have literally sent death threats and never miss a trick to mock me and my condition. It's debilitating, but equally I refuse to give into it, even though not doing so is probably encouraging them in some way.

It's good to know I'm not alone!

do you know the identity of those who have sent death threats? it's true that they are often all bark and no bite but if you feel that you are truly in danger, reporting to police or other law enforcement is the best way to go. yet i'm sorry that seem to be brushing you off, that's real inconsiderate. :?

it's good to hear you aren't giving in. from what i have seen (perhaps it's different for you) that's more discouraging.
