I have spent my entire adult life waiting for when I will feel grown up and like an adult. At 35, I haven't reached that stage yet. Whilst I'm in a long-term relationship with a mortgage and two dogs, I still feel and act like a big kid.

I look at it as a blessing! I'm 40yrs old and those who don't know me think I look 26 so I'm not complaining! Most of my classmates look 10 or more years older than they are and no where near as happy as me! WOO HOO

When does most peoples' hair turn grey? I am 47 and I've found maybe 10 grey hairs in 10 years.

This is sooooooo relevant to me. I'm almost 52, and everyone my age just seems so...old. they look old, they talk like they are old, they have old interests. I find myself most comfortable around people around half my age. Although I don't understand them too much either. My knowledge of pop culture is definitely my generation. I don't get new music, I haven't read new books, I haven't been to a movie or rented a DVD in forever.

I seem to be trapped in 1985.

I've always gotten along better with people that have a 5+ year age gap either way, not so much with others closer to my own age. The stuff my parents and grandparents did at 20 I have only done about half at my age. I have cousins that married in high school and now have grandkids, it depresses me, compounded with me being the firstborn son and grandson, I often feel I failed at my part in keeping the lineage going

I stay up to speed on about 1/3 of new music, the stuff that does get my attention is reminiscent of legacy music (I refuse to utter 'classic rock' or 'oldies')
