He has learned but it was a little alarming. The e-mail I fired off to the young lady was also a little alarming too, come to think of it.

OMG! A 20 year old falling for an 11 year old, or vice versa. Do you think she knew he was 11? For some reason, I've never been interested in online games and neither is my daughter. She spends her time on Deviant Art.

Cabana Solo, I need a triple shot of cappuccino!

Not those, but I have taken many similar photos. I just haven't uploaded them anywhere.

Hmmm. Thinking about that.

You come up with the most amazing things. Is that your photo in your ava? Very pretty.

I came up with a new word: fo'pizzle

It means "For sure, my fellow aspies."

oooohhhhhh! LOL. I'm not a political person and never have been. Too much deceit and mind games going on for me to follow.

Of course, I admire sistas who can STAND. :)

*singing "Wash that man right out of my hair..."*

Someone sent me the AEC url. I've been thinking of wandering over there, but didn't want to intrude. But it is very interesting reading.

hummm. . .I don't know about making a regular household chore a 'punishment'. Wouldn't that make him avoid or think that someone who DID clean toilets was somehow 'less than?'

don't get me wrong, I have never raised kids, I don't even suggest that I presume to know how to raise kids. but I have BEEN a kid. I was made to do dishes for punishment and I fight it every time I step up to the sink.

We all take turns doing the household chores so cleaning the toilet is something he had does anyway. He just had to do it every Saturday rather than every 6th Saturday. I was never punished with housework and I avoid it as much as possible. I do what has to be done and that is all. I also fit the discipline to each child. My middle son, T1, gags and nearly vomits when faced with toilet duty so he would not be made to do it weekly. His discipline would be more like vacuuming the stairs every 3 days for a month.

Serious,
T2 talks at an adult and his language is quite formal so many WOW players think he is older than he is. Hubby has had to clue some of them in. T2 was playing on-line with his best friend and the boys father and the father couldn't figure out why his son kept calling T2 his best friend. He had to phone me to make sure T2 was really a child. It is scary at times but I keep a watchful eye on what they do on-line. :)

Gotcha, Blessed. I once received a strange email from the national center for organ donation. My son had been learning about it in school. The person was very nice, but I'm sure he was confused about explaining to me why I had to be dead in order to donate organs. He had no idea he had been corresponding with an eight year old!

  That is so funny!! My daughter went to bible camp with a friend. It had a Spanish Fiesta.
My blue-eyed, blonde haired told them we are Spanish and we have had people coming to our house from the church since August. They always say, "Oh. Aren't there any Spanish people here?" But the organ donation is even better!

All Your File Are Belong To Us
By Paul Kiel - March 30, 2007, 3:19 PM

This morning, I wrote about Julie MacDonald, the Bush appointee at the Fish and Wildlife Service, who, when she isn't ignoring agency scientist recommendations about endangered species, spends her time emailing copies of internal documents to industry lobbyists.

Just for an extra special view into MacDonald's mind, here's another highlight from the inspector general's report (pdf). In this episode, MacDonald unwinds by sharing internal agency documents with a virtual friend and demonstrates that she trusts the feedback of her fellow gamer, who's apparently quite young, and her child over agency scientists:

MacDonald confirmed that she also sent the Delta Smelt document [the Delta smelt fish is an endangered species] to an on-line game friend through his father's e-mail account. MacDonald said she is acquainted with the on-line friend through internet role-playing games. She said she engages in these games to relieve the stress created by her job; however, she said she has not played while at work. When asked why she would e-mail an internal [Department of Interior] document to a private citizen, MacDonald replied, "I was irritated [with what was happening regarding the subject of the document] and tried to explain my irritation over the phone; however, I sent it to him to read for a better understanding."
MacDonald could offer no explanation as to why she sent her child an e-mail containing an internal DOI/FWS document other than she feels frustrated at times and likes to have third party reviews of these documents. MacDonald opined that she sent FWS documents to the 11 year old on-line game friend and her 12 year old child to have another set of eyes give an unfiltered opinion of them, negative comments included.

obviously she wanted a pair of FRESH eyes on the subject!

Obviously, she felt that because the President seems to make decisions by counsulting with online friends and 11-year-olds, she outght to have the same option. I wonder what she was in the role-playing game. The Decider in Chief?
Sorry. Politics is so damned funny when you're 65.

I stopped following politics when Nancy Reagan was consulting an astrologer. I used to work for a guy who used her photo as a dart board!
