Please. I am in mourning.

NOT THE BARBIE DOLL-OLL-OLLsss... WAHHHHHH!! !! SOB! WAHHHHHHHH!

I tore my Barbie dolls apart and used them as ammunition in fights with my brothers. We had pretend wars. I think I thought that was all they were good for when I was young. LOL They were pretty bizarre looking. I couldn't figure out what was up with their feet (back when they were bent for the high heels). I thought that was really strange.

Hi, everyone. Been down with an accelerated version of CFIDS. I think the smoke in the air aggravated it, but I could do nothing but sleep for three days. I am so tired of smelling this smoke. The dog next door, whose barking usually annoys me, aroused pity in me because he was so hoarse. I wondered at his owners leaving him outside to breath the smoke while they sat in some air conditioned work place all day. I walked to the store today, and my skin now smells of smoke. Hope everyone is doing fine. :)

So sorry to hear that!! :( That smoke seeps into everything. Take it easy!

Zanne, Chuck is suffering from serious Barbie issues so we mustn't hurt his feelings by talking of maimed Barbies. Although we had a few that had been the vicitims of my brothers and I as well. GI Joe didn't fare so well, either. He hung from the light in brothers room for a long time. And Ken was abuses by everyone including Barbie herself!!

I hate to admit this, but in the interest of science, and my decision to always lay it all on the line so that others may recognize similarities in themselves and glean important statistical information:

I used to be afraid of dolls.

So when my sister and brother decided to tear her's all up to make new mix and match toys such as horses with Barbie doll heads I was all for it (yet in many ways even more horrified......)

Nothing wrong with a healthy fear of dolls! My kids laugh because at night I turn all dolls away from where I sit "just in case one should come to life".. Yeah!! I know! Ha,ha!! I have a possessed doll phobia! And I can't take clowns, either!

How are you with Mannequins? Got any of those laying around your house? My friend uses hers a coat rack. I can't look at it!!

You are out in the woods by yourself. You never can be too sure what is lurking in the hills out there?! I see a horror movie in the making.

Febreze with allergen reducer is great for getting the smoke smell out and neutralizing the smoke particles. It shouldn't bother your CFIDS!

Actually dolls, clowns and mannequins are the same as human faces to me. I get the same disembodied feeling. It comes from not getting anything from any of them I'm sure. Human faces spook me to death. I can't look at them very long. When I'm in an interview, I pretend I'm on stage and we're acting. It helps me to look at them, but of course when I do that I tend to stare because faces look so strange to me. That was seriously the one thing that tipped me off that I might have AS traits. Of course I had no idea how much of it I had and as I kept reading it just became more and more clear.

My mother is in her usual mode today. Said she didn't get my flowers (I'm sure they are in the trash and I'll get to hear about it all later from my ex-sister-in-law, then tells me she has to go because my ex-sister-in-law is there. This is after I told her I got her the jewelry she ordered me to buy. Yesterday my brother and I agreed we'd better tell her his wife picked it out. My sister-oin-law doesn't believe it even though my brother told her, you don't really know my mom even though you think you do. How true is that! She'll learn.

Anyway, that's my mother day saga. I look at mother's day gifts like taxes, gifts I make to the gods to keep the bad spirits away from me. LOL

Dh is mad. He's always mad at this time of year and the holidays. I don't know why he thinks she'll change. I guess he still has hope.

Happy Mother's Day all you mothers on here.

Hartz, I feel for you. I am flying back into the smoke tonight. My pets haven't been allowed out except for potty breaks. It's bad down there. The fires are three counties from us and the smoke is so bad they are telling the elderly and people with lung problems to stay inside. Stay in as much as you can! I hope rain comes soon. We had this in 1998 and it got ugly before it was over. The fires warped I-95 North of Daytona and the road had to be replaced there.

Are you up by U of F? My brother is there. He said it was bad. I'm glad it's raining! Thank God. I think the entire Okeefenokee swamp has burned.

Oh! OH! Clowns are the f***ing worst! They terrified me when I was a kid. I thought someone had slit their eyes top to bottom: ++ and had ripped their mouths out wide. 8O

The dolls with the wide open staring eyes and little teeth made the hair on the back of my neck crawl. I always wanted to bite them and run.

And mannequins! Blessedmom, thank you very much for bringing all of this up, just as the sun is setting behind the hills....

....One day my sister wore a big doll-like mask that she had made (think horror doll movie-type) and hid in the clothes in my closet, with just her face showing. I came home from school, was talking to my brother so wasn't paying attention, took off my shirt, opened the closet, saw my sister, turned and talked to my brother.....when it registered in my slow brain what I had just seen. I jumped all the way over my bed and let out a scream that would have made Fay Wray proud.

....One Christmas she gave me an antique mannequin, surface all cracked, and dirty with with lifelike staring eyes and teeth ...

Oh, the fun she has , the fun she has.....

What are us sisters for but to torment our brothers. I have 2 younger brothers, I love 'em more than life itself, but some of the things I did to them.. And you did say I am a sister

Zanne, My mom and I spent an hour talking about my seemingly crappy taste in men. I am a mama's girl and always will be!! She thinks my husband treats me and my boys like crap but she rarely says anything. I couldn't get her anything this year but she says giving her 4 grandchildren is the best gift ever!! She should be everyone's mom! :D
