Hehehe, I love those kitties.

Morning all. :D I have some catching up to do this morning.

Lemon, yes, Amazon second-hand books save my life!! Lol. Without them I'd die (lack of brain food) When you look for a book often the option of buy used comes up. Postage is quite expensive though (£2.75 in the UK)

Talking of food, Fruit Loops are cereals?! 8O The blue ones look a bit sinister. Are they radioactive?

Turkish Delight is sublime Image But this is the world's best chocolate imo.Image :D ....But...I was forgetting those gorgeous little chocolate 'shells' from Belgium. Lemon, you know these? Oh they are exquisite. They only seem to sell them here around Christmas. But they are far too nice to give away, lol.

Now then, whilst we're on the subject of international nosh, what is a 'lazy Susan'? I've read about these in novels, something food-related? I just can't imagine what they might be.

VC, I've not found the missing actor yet, but the old brain's still working on it.

Is that everything covered? I think so. :)

Now stop hanging about here and go kill some threads!! I managed to kill a few over the weekend. Pretty good for a few minutes' work. 8)

Did we get all 9 Lives covered now?

My kitty is jealous at me posting all the pictures. So I'm going to have to take a picture of her in her Halloween hat and post I think. I already put her candy corn collar on her so she's looking festive.

I haven't a clue what Turkish Delights are. I don't think we have those here. I have tasted the Belgian shells before and those are too sweet and too waxy for my taste. I honestly like Hersheys or Stouffers chocolate to any of the European brands. However, I will say the Brits make some mighty fine toffees.

PS: I killed several threads this weekend too.

I don't usually eat chocolate because it makes my skin break out. But for special occassions I like Rocher. It looks like this-

Its got chopped up hazelnuts and it melts in your mouth.

Hehehe, I suspect VC is biding his time, until we're all out of sweets and kittens, then he will make his move

Turkish Delight :D It is nice like this but even nicer covered in chocolate.
The pink Turkish Delight is made with attar of roses (rose oil) and the yellow is vanilla or lemon flavoured.

Am I in danger of being a Turkish Delight bore? lol. Probably. I want some now. I suddenly CRAVE IT BADLY!!

I did look for a photo of a kitten made out of Turkish Delight but even Google couldn't help me with that.

Right folks, I'm disappearing into the hills for a few days. Back soon. Happy threadkilling :D

I had to look up what Turkish Delight was last night. I gotta admit to these American tastebuds it sounds a bit strange. We certainly don't have that candy here.

Here's my fave-

Gotta admit, Reeses Cups are very very nice :D (they are the ones filled with peanut butter, right?)

Yep. You're right on; the peanut butter filled ones. Quite yummy. Except they are starting to get weird with the limited edition ones like the new Elvis edition that has bananas in it. I think it has grape jelly too, but not sure. I'm allergic to bananas, so I haven't tried it.
