Hi Lemon, you just can't trust anyone these days. You happily think that you've finally killed a thread, and up they pop and steal the moment ...

Ever notice sometimes when you try to finish a thread off it has the opposite effect :?:

I sometimes know when I've posted a real 'killer'. It has a kind of 'thud' quality, and I just know that it's a conversation stopper. I do this IRL sometimes too
If someone does post afterwards I think we should start giving awards, lol, for managing to put some life back into 'em. (Only so we can finish them off properly next time)

Check out my poll in Random and vote for more kitty emoticons!
Don't let the cat-haters win

Have done :D Cat-haters, here at WP?

Do you think we could do with more emoticons in general, as well as the cat ones? I wonder if Alex would treat us to some new ones? :D

Tis a good one Cernunnos! :) I've not seen much of the new Robin Hood. Is it good? I think it must be on at a time when I'm usually doing something else.
Richard Greene was my favourite Robin Hood, probably 'cos I loved it as a kid :)

"Robin Hood, Robin Hood, riding through the glen
Robin Hood, Robin Hood, with his band of men
Feared by the bad, loved by the good
Robin Hood, Robin Hood, Robin Hood"

Ah, feel better for that, lol.

More evidence of GOF's law.

GOF's law = Other people always will subconsciously do what you do not want them to do.

The new series is a bit sillier than the first. But hey, it's not bad, and better than a lot of the rubbish churned out these days. It's on Saturday evenings around 7 or 7:30-ish and repeated on Sundays between 4 and 5pm. Both are on BBC1.
