Not about being a thread killer, but about putting my foot in my mouth and saying something stupid.

I think I remember Cernunnos having an avatar of a black and white drawing of a man on a horse? :? With a mythological feel?

That was my second avatar (I started with Victor Meldrew, but it was too much like reality to be confortable LOL). It was a black & white image of Herne the Hunter on horseback, so you were right about the mythological feel. :D

I think that that should be included this thread too. I think we've all done it at some time or another.

I saw Robin Hood on Saturday. I enjoyed it. Keith Allen is a brilliant Sheriff of Nottingham. Very dastardly, lol.

I love the Sheriff - he's probably the best character in it. He's so likable, whilst being so bad - just how does he do it? :D

With the recent foot (hoof) & mouth outbreak in the UK, I nearly did a sign for my office door: "Warning: Foot in Mouth Disease" :D

Did you see Alan Rickman as the Sheriff in the film with Kevin Costner as Robin.
'Cancel Christmas!' lol.

Happy Halloween threadkillers! :D

Seeing as how I've been killing threads all over WP today, I just thought I'd poke my head in and say "BOO" HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

You reckon? :) The party was that good? Lol.

I'm  today too. Some idiot ran into the back of my car this morning. I think it'll be written-off. It was old but it was mine and I was kinda attached to it. Anyway, I escaped with just a bit of whiplash, which the doc said will be more painful tomorrow, but it could have been worse. This is what happened to my last car too. Why can't people learn to f....lippin drive more carefully

Strange how you can get attached to inaminate objects isn't it? We've travelled a lot of miles together, my old banger and me.

Oh well. :(

Sorry to hear that Starr. I hope you're alright.

I've just said "bye" to my little old car - it just got too tired and finally flaked out (bit like me  ). My daughter cried when it went

It's so annoying when some idiot wrecks your car though. I hope you got their details and they're insured. Some moron wrecked the front of our family car in a car park at work a few weeks ago, but neglected to leave any details. It caused £1500 of damage
