Is Aspergers the 'anti-charisma' disorder?

I think this is very true. I moved from a 'cold' country (UK) to a 'warm' one (Spain) which you'd think would be more difficult but I'm in a small but cosmopolitan town and most people accept my 'foreignness' as just that, whereas in my home town they think I'm a weirdo.
I am also not charming in any girly, flirty way. Can't be bothered with it.

That sounds just like my experience. moving from Belgium to the US I got away with my aspieness as a "foreigner" for quite a few years.. people would forgive my quirks due to the fact that I was from a different country. very interesting experience
of course i couldn't pull that off forever. my accent withered after a few more years and now I'm struck with reality.. deal with my aspieness by either overcompensating with friendliness and fake emotions or be myself and live my life for what it might be... a dull quite experience of dispair... I think i'm going to settle with something in-between... a little bit of show but still try to be myself.
