...Since this is a bit more " cosmic " , it's a new post...
I have never worked . I get SSDI (I believe it is) , which was arranged back in the early 80s , after I had been commited by my folks . I was 20 then (when committed - in one of two states it's easier to commit someone 
- my mother was drunk then). I get about $88-920?? a month , " the top amount " , it comes into an ATM card by the week , so collecting an amount for a large purchase is difficult for me .
I sort of recall that , over the years , whenever I maybe started to move in possibly the first direction of doing something that might " make me empolyable " - like going back to school - the rug would be pulled out from under me .
However , perhaps I'm trying to remember things more favorably to my image...
I think I could " become employable " on a level more than SSDI ~ Maybe ~ if I got some education (" Training " , if you want to call it that) - but it would take lotsa do$h for education as well as livinng along the way .
Remember , I never full-out went to/certainly did not graduate fromm college , I never " did it the first time " , for me to go to uni now would be being " a belated undergraduate " , doing it muchmuchmuchmuchmuch later than the standard time .
