Is it just me or has WP been a bit dull lately. flat.

It could be me, I've been busy lately and somehow the allure of WP has waned. When I've got nothing to do (and that's a lot of the time) it seems fascinating here.

Yeah, it's been dull. It's been the youngin's whinging and moaning, and irritating me, so I don't even visit most threads...the political thread is an immense disappointment. Youngin's with political views are the most tiresome critters in the universe. No experience and a couple of History channels shows under their belt, and whoa, experts, and everything.

Did I say I'm extra crabby? Kids. Hmph. They better stay off my damn lawn. Plus they seem to be fascinated by the most boring things. OOph.

Okay, I'm a rag. But everything is still boring.

Yeah, it's been dull.

Members change, come and go. I tend not to notice newer members and a lot of the members I like seeing post are not about much. Anyone else notice changes in members? For example I think Cockneyrebel has changed a lot (for the better I think). And TM1 changed some time before he stopped posting (became more serious - I think some of the desperately sad people affected him). Maybe WP does that to you. :?

Interesting...yes, I think people do change here. I've changed here I know, and I've noticed it in others. Maybe it's part of the 'finding out you're an Aspie and accepting it' process? Also, there seems to be a thing where people post for a year to 18 months, then they leave, or rarely post. I've noticed that so often, it's kinda sad, when you've gotten to like them, like TM1, and many others. But that's life I guess, nothing stays the same forever, things move on. But I'll always remember members who talked to me and were kind when I first came here, even the ones who are no longer here  Damn it, I've gone all 'auld lang syne' now. Soppy old git, lol. I don't want to make everyone sad.

the vet thinks we caught it soon enough, though, so we can do stuff to help oreo. he has to take the medicine forever though.

My sisters hamster had 2 at first, had more but most were stillborn. we wernt sure when to wean them, so she got pregnant again, and they kept multiplying. we had a lot of hamster cages by the time we learned how to tell their sex :o she wound up giving them to me and my brother to take care of and they took over his room

Hope Oreo is OK Raph. Glad the vet spotted the problem :)
I had a cat once with a hyperthyroid problem and she had to have meds everyday crushed into her food. She lived 'till a ripe old age. I hope Oreo does too.

And where is Lemon? :)

My Mom's cat a Persian had hyperthyroid too. One of us had to hold the cat's mouth open and the other one had to shot the pill in with this little peashooter thing the vet gave us.

I tried one of those peashooter things, but after the first time, she sussed what was coming and had her claws ready. She was a bit  lol. So, because she was a chicken fiend, I got her to take her medicine mixed up in that. In other words, she trained me to give her chicken every night. Not daft are they?

It is the same here, very frosty, but no snow. Who here has had any snow yet? :rendeer:

My friend is coming over soon with a bottle of her home made banana wine. It's excellent stuff. It doesn't taste at all like alcohol, but after a few glasses.... ooh, slides off chair onto the floor! :drunken:
