Yes, many people do. But ultimately there can be only one threadkiller who will put an end to this thread. And that's going to be me :D

There was no cruelty involved during the making of my avvie. The antlers are real ~

Not from Wikipedia:-

Quote:
Unusual breeds of Welsh Cats.

There exists a unique breed of cat which is found only in the remotest parts of Welsh mountainous regions. They are called Deer-cats and were semi-domesticated and utilised by Welsh housewives for centuries. Before the invention of washing lines they would hang their washing on the antlers and get them to run around the garden until the washing was dry. Deer-cat still exist in the wild, but are a rare sight. They were never fully domesticated because use of a cat flap proved too problematical for them.

*note: not to be confused with the invisible cat of Wales which is probably a myth. Clear-cats have been cropping up in stories for centuries but no-one can prove they exist as owing to their transparent nature, no-one has ever actually seen one.

Also not to be confused with the more common cat often seen around populated areas, particularly pubs where they often attempt to get into the cellars. Beer-cats have a tendency to exhibit aggressive and argumentative behaviour, especially on Friday nights. This is usually followed by a more subdued mood in which they are often heard to declare 'you're my best mate, you are!' which is usually followed by sleeping.

Oyess, I knew that'd kill it! :D

Wow, I never knew that. I wonder what it is in the environment that made them evolve that way. Probably something similar to the Wyoming Jackalope

it is said to be a hybrid of the pygmy-deer and a species of "killer-rabbit". Reportedly, jackalopes are extremely shy unless approached. Legend also has it that female jackalopes can be milked as they sleep belly up and that the milk can be used for a variety of medicinal purposes. It has also been said that the jackalope can convincingly imitate any sound, including the human voice. It uses this ability to elude pursuers, chiefly by using phrases such as "There he goes! That way!". It is said that a jackalope may be caught by putting a flask of whiskey out at night. The jackalope will drink its fill of whiskey and its intoxication will make it easier to hunt. In some parts of the United States it is said that jackalope meat has a taste similar to lobster. However legend has it that they are dangerous if approached. It has also been said that jackalopes will only breed during electrical storms including hail, explaining its rarity.

"Haystack in a Thread" topic (Poem)

Who is the needle for sewing this thread
Or unravelling this topic to make it dead?

A tangled web weaving all that is said
It is just so much information stored in my head!

A knot is tricky to untie so instead,
The end of a topic could conjure up dread.

In case you were wondering where all this has led
In closing, then, it is nothing ever before seen, or read.
