There exists a unique breed of cat which is found only in the remotest parts of Welsh mountainous regions. They are called Deer-cats and were semi-domesticated and utilised by Welsh housewives for centuries. Before the invention of washing lines they would hang their washing on the antlers and get them to run around the garden until the washing was dry. Deer-cat still exist in the wild, but are a rare sight. They were never fully domesticated because use of a cat flap proved too problematical for them.
*note: not to be confused with the invisible cat of Wales which is probably a myth. Clear-cats have been cropping up in stories for centuries but no-one can prove they exist as owing to their transparent nature, no-one has ever actually seen one.
Also not to be confused with the more common cat often seen around populated areas, particularly pubs where they often attempt to get into the cellars. Beer-cats have a tendency to exhibit aggressive and argumentative behaviour, especially on Friday nights. This is usually followed by a more subdued mood in which they are often heard to declare 'you're my best mate, you are!' which is usually followed by sleeping.

Wow, I never knew that. I wonder what it is in the environment that made them evolve that way. Probably something similar to the Wyoming Jackalope
