Yikes!! You have a yurt in your back yard too? Cool beans, mine is falling down, though. I like what you did for the skylight and we never did get the roof properly sealed against the rain till we "retopped" it with flat sheets of wood.

I didn't know what you yurt was till i looked it up lol. It does look like a yurt but it is actually a gazebo with a canvas top. I was going to put a jacuzzi in the gazebo but i changed my mind when i realized it would be too much work to maintain. My boyfriend made the ponds dug them out with a shovel and pilled all the dirt back there where the gazebo is sitting on top of. There are 3 ponds the orignal one is in the back the big one in the front and a little prefab pond that we have just for the turtles.

Still looked like a great way to do the skylight. The yurt in back was supposed to have a round heavy duty piece of glass, it never got done. Instead it had a wood top that you could move with a pole to see the sky. The stove in it has a chimmeny so no need to let the smoke out that way. Wouldn't take a lot to fix it, the cable that holds it all together needs to be replaced and floor redone. Roff never was good, but wouldn't be hard either. I'll never do it, but hey, I did think about a jacuzzi, it would even be doable for the winter. I figure I may need to redo it, in case Merle needs another place to stay. Don't want her gettin ate by those ol nasty bears out in that part of the world.

DAMN!! Dude it that's experimenting wtf did you end up with? That should be shown and I don't just mean here. I'd hang that puppy on my wall and I have some stuff that critics think highly of, but that is something else again. This is coming from a lover of the stark, bold color or just give me black and white, love cubist, forget the rest. I may not be able to paint, but I know good when I see it. And that good sir should be in a gallary.

Thanks, Postie ! ! To my eyes, it's just so much swirled oil paint ! ! I loved Dali when I was in Uni, and his realism misplaced. This was a bit of a tribute to the old master.

It sits in a corner, gathering dust.

(Bullocks to galleries.)

Overuse of liquify tools in photoshop isn't artistic, it's just dull.

You can liquify in photoshop? WOOT! I can get rid of that noisey blender. Who knew. Now I just need to find the button. Wonder if it has a timer and if I can get a puree. Betchas it makes a great margarita, although I was much fonder of single malt Irsh whisky and gin. Scotch was ok, but I was fussy.
