What's 16, attitudal, Aspie, hormonal, hyperfocused and behind the wheel of my precious Scion xB?

My son, apparently.

My hubby just called me with the news that my child will be picking me up from work in a few minutes. It's his second time out, alone, with my vehicle. Yeah, it's only a 5-minute drive, but still...He's driving. Alone. In my xB.

Needless to say, my AS is going off the deep end LOL

I don't feel old enough to have a kid driving ME home.

Can someone loan me a cane?

My mother had a magic invisible brake on her side when I was learning.

I do tactile stimming, so it's quite hilarious to watch me try to turn the seatbelt into a Gordian knot while furiously finding that "magic brake pedal", Aimless

I'm very proud of him, despite the fact that I sometimes think I'll get whiplash when that boy pops the clutch.

He plans on going into the Air Force for aeronautical engineering. He's intelligent enough to succeed. I just pray he makes an aircraft that doesn't stall in 2nd gear.

My kids are now good drivers but I couldn't teach them.

It scared the hell out of me when a person who didn't know what they were doing was driving MY car with ME in it through heavy traffic.
