My husband is having surgery tomorrow on his neck to correct a spine problem. The surgery has a low success rate of alleviating all nerve pain but a low success rate still means there were some people who experienced relief of all nerve pain. So let's hope for the best. This surgery will be less invasive than his two full hip replacements so I'm less worried but still there is some anxiety there. He ought to be home by the weekend and then he'll be in a neck brace for several weeks.

It's a long story about how my husband's body got so fubar'd. Suffice it to say that everyone should stay away from corticosteroid injections for pain!

I hope that your husband pulls through and makes a full recovery.

My husband made it through surgery. He's alive, well and loopy on pain meds. :D
