It is so good to read from other people. I am not young any more and have spent my whole life with people looking down on me. I really thought if I become self confident and good at what I do then people will appreciate me. So I spent a lot of time in self improvement and development, becoming a good public speaker. Learnt some social skills, although there was still the tendency to say the wrong thing at the right time and the right thing at the wrong time. I think tremendous determination is one thing that has carried me through life.

I've also worked on self-improvement, and I do public speaking as well. Do you have any YouTube videos?

It's a desperate business trying to patch the flaws one can see, when the really serious one is only visible to everyone else.

Thanks auntblabby. Sorry I missed these replies.

Arman, sorry no videos at the moment. I may make a webcam video demonstrating painting.

Yes Peter. I seem to have flaws I am not aware of, at least judging by other people's reaction to me. I can tell you, that in the end trying to patch flaws which are really built in to the hardware is just impossible. I mean I think one thing is sorted and then something else pops out. We have to accept ourselves for what we are at some point. I guess some things can be improved, but other are more difficult.

What a huge relief it is, for once in this life, to hear someone knows what my life is all about... The desperation, the blindness, the not knowing what I'm blind to... Thank God for the internet, as it's so much less excruciating to live like this when I know someone somewhere on another end of the world knows what it's like.

I was born and raised an athiest. Became a born-again Christian at 30. I will always believe that only God can change the hearts of men. If people think I'm insufferable now, they have no idea how bad I was before I got saved!
