For some reason, I have always been a fan of Haiku

Was Just Diagnosed
Understanding What it Means
Happy I now Know

Living On Spectrum
Cannot Relate with People
Get Me Out of Here

Outside looking in.
Stumbling through life at random.
What am I to them?

Oh my f*cking god
It is way too bright outdoors
Might as well stay in

You are so pretty
I could stare at you for hours
Do not touch me now

My neighbor irks me.
She reminds me of myself.
Why don't I like her?

Chaotic world reigns
Music anchors dreary angst
Dream of still waters

Loneliness looms large
Unique in strength and weakness
No one hears my voice

Yes, I'm listening.
I don't have to look at you;
Ears listen, eyes don't.

My special interest:
For me it's fascinating.
You hear: Bla Bla Bla.

The Pet Shop Boys are
singing in my head so I
tap in time to ghosts

Eyes are windows to
the soul they say I see some
have double glazing

Daily overload
ears and nose under attack
Why you bother me?

Here we go again
What's the matter with these clothes?
At least they aren't ripped

Sweater of steel wool,
the connection scratches hard,
then I am alone.

"Oh, snap out of it
Everyone's got a hard life
Grow a thicker skin"

Thrown off my routine
All I touch turning to crap
Here comes a meltdown

Called good-looking yet
Rejected on dating sites
A cruel joke of God?

Fleeting obsessions
Hitting hard out of nowhere
Gone just as quickly

My inward feeling
Is not at all how I look.
He appears transfixed.

A distortion which
Allows me to hope and yet
Ever steers me wrong.

Other souls can be
Lonely; as long as I get
Mine, it is alright.

One of God's own fools
A Starbaby, my birthright
He's no earthly good.
