Some research shows that taking paracetamol/tylenol lowers anxiety (see refs here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_pain) - which I would like a lot.

However other research links taking paracetamol/tylenol with autism (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3673819/ ), and I sort of suspect that may be true for me.

I just wondered if anyone found taking paracetamol/tylenol makes them more Aspie?

Just be very careful with that. Even a slight overdose can do serious damage to your liver.

If you don't believe me, try Googling.

Tylenol has been my "go to" pain reliever my whole life - I am careful with dosage though because of the dire effects of an overdose. I seem to be intolerant to the whole aspirin family but tylenol works for me just fine (I get migraines so have tylenol 1's - tylenol with codeine - for those).

I don't find tylenol makes me any more aspie than normal and I was on the autism spectrum long before I started taking tylenol.

I've never noticed anything with Tylenol. Not even pain relief.

never noticed any difference. i have to take tylenol because i am predisposed to ulcers and NSAIDS suppress an enzyme that your stomach needs to protech itself.
