I am in my early 20's with degrees in physics and law although my mum often says I behave like a preteen sometimes.

Well, I am not so certain about you guys but when I get stressed or upset about something I rapidly rub
my ears with my hands, to the point where they are pretty red. Is this something that is common among with
people with Asperger's?

Congratulations on earning your degrees.

Ear rubbing sounds like a form of stimming a natural behavoir for autistic people. Since this
form of stimming is causing discomfort it might be advisable to find another stim. You probably do other forms of stimming without realizing it, so you can identify them and use them to calm when stressed.
