I've just written a personal account of my experience of growing up with Aspergers in the UK in a time before it could be diagnosed. It's a bit cheeky to plug it here, but it's too long for a blog (about 20K words, or about 70 pages) and Kindle seems the ideal way to publish it. Only 99c/99p. Hopefully readable and interesting.
Like it says "A true story of a life-long struggle with undiagnosed Aspergers Syndrome, from an unpromising start and troubled adolescence to travel, a career and eventually even marriage. And that feeling of being 'at home abroad and abroad at home''.
Please have a look and review. I haven't sunk to getting friends to put it bogus reviews of 'brilliant' and five stars, which seems to be what some people do.
If I have anything special to offer, it is that I have experienced Aspergers both from the inside, as a child and a young man not understanding what was wrong, and now more from the outside, being able to 'pass for normal'.
