When it comes to feeling 'acceptably human enough'/an adult who is in the painfully deceptive and mysterious process of disengaging from parents I've comes to terms/arguable concession that I can proceed with notion of moving out even without knowing how to drive or having had 'adequate social interaction amounts' in the form of an intimate relationship beyond friendship, like say being in a commitment/'having a girlfriend'. What *I do* feel like I have 'going for me' is

--A casual (non-part time or full time) basis of employment

--A fortunate reception of a social assistance service

--'Sufficient funds' as far personal finances..

When it comes to the feasibility of moving out what factors I feel are 'holding me back'/I have to actually ponder about are (i) my feasibly holding a job for ~2 years in one location and being competent in functioning in such an environment, getting along with ppl even not being afraid of 'mean ones'/'meeting the expectation' and (ii) understanding the whole 'apartment searching process' and red tape like issues like understanding bill arrangements with landlords etc, etc.

Part (i) has caused such a frustration to me lately that b/c of it, I am seriously considering factoring in moving out *without* a job ( b/c the 'second point' I brought up) which makes me think that really the one thing which I have yet to find encouragement in regards to is (ii) which is what I mean to ask in this forum.

When it comes to apartment searching in Hamilton, Ontario (https://www.kijiji.ca/b-apartments-cond ... /c37l80014) or anywhere else for that matter how do you begin?,where do you begin?.

You are going to have difficulty getting an apartment without a job if you end up losing yours. The tenancy laws are so biased in favour of tentants that many landlords dont want to rent to reciepients of ODSP.

You also gotta watch out for scammers, people who are tentants or who dont live there at all who pretend to be landlords, take your money without, leaving you without a place to live. Make sure any apartment you rent off kijiji is ACTUALLY the landlord.

I live in Hamilton too, with my parents and I dont really know what I would do either when it is time to move out.
